We are looking for an experienced, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Grounds Person!
We are looking for someone with at least two seasons of experience working on another golf course grounds crew. This part time, seasonal position lasts until November depending on weather, with an average of 40 hours of work per week.

- Must hold a valid BC Driver's License
- Must be able to lift or move objects weighing up to 50lbs
- Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally
- Having previous experience on a golf course maintenance team is an asset

Operate various groundskeeping equipment and power tools including: string trimmers, backpack blowers, hand tools, push mowers, ride-on mowers, pull behind turbine blowers, walk-behind self-propelled mowers, various ride-on mowers, greens aerator, greens brush, greens roller, fairway topdresser, and tractor use

Mow greens, tees, aprons, fairways, low maintenance rough and other turf areas

Participate in unsupervised course renovation projects

Assist in cultural work such as aerating, topdressing and applying granular fertilizer

Daily course set up such as filling divots on tees and fairways, and setting tees and pins

Assist with weed removal and management
-
Maintain the on-course bunkers

Perform other duties associated with daily golf course and property maintenance such as brush and debris removal, hand watering, operating irrigation controllers etc.
