    Mobile Check In

Why use mobile check in?

Mobile check in is a convenient new way for you to avoid the clubhouse and individually pay for your green fees directly through our mobile app, up to 6 hours before your tee time!

Currently, the person who books a tee time is responsible for paying for all the green fees in the reservation with their credit card on file. This has helped us to greatly reduce the number of people that come into the Golf Shop, and the amount of person-to-person transactions that happen each day; both are a part of our efforts to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Offering mobile check in allows us to continue to limit the people and individual payments in the golf shop, while still allowing our customers to only cover the cost of their own green fee, rather than the cost of an entire foursome!

If you haven't already, download the Redwoods App by searching Redwoods Golf Course in your App Store, or by clicking below! There are plenty of other great features about the app which you can take advantage of such as our enhanced loyalty program!

Using mobile check in for the first time:

1.  Six hours or less before your tee time, open the App and select the Check In Now button from the home page of the app

2.  Enter the Reservation ID from the tee time confirmation email. If you were not the person who booked, asked the person who booked to share the Reservation ID with the other golfers. Learn more about the Reservation ID below. 

3.  After the tee time appears, select the green Check In button

4.  You will be prompted to login to continue with the check in process. Use the exact same login information you use to book a tee time online through our website. If you have never made an online account before, select the red Sign Up button. If you already have an account, skip to Step # 7!

5.  You will be redirected to the Redwoods Website to create your account. Select Create Account to continue

6.  Enter your email, a password and any other information required to create an account. Once an account has been created, you will be sent back to the app to continue checking in!

7.  Enter your login information into the app. Select the Stay Logged In option to make this process much easier in the future!

8.  Select a player(s) to check in. They will turn green when selected. You can check in and pay just for just yourself, or you can check in and pay for some or all of the players

9.  The cost of the tee time will appear on the next screen. Select the green Pay Now button if the rates are correct. Please note, the rates shown in the app include all taxes. If the green fee rate is wrong (ie. shows regular rate but you are senior) please alert a Golf Shop Attendant: 604-882-5132

10.  During your first time using mobile check in, you will be prompted to add a New Payment Method to complete the transaction

11.  The app will redirect you once more to a screen where you can enter payment and billing information

12.  After successfully entering a payment method, select the Save Credit Card option to make this process much easier in the future. Select Complete Purchase

13.  You will then receive a confirmation message saying the payment was successful and your player will be marked as PAID

14.  Now you are all checked in and paid! You can now proceed directly to the first tee to start your round!

We realize that this looks like a daunting process just to check in. But we promise that after you do this once, all future check ins will take mere seconds! Take a read below to see how your second check in will look!

 

Using mobile check in for the second time:

1.  Six hours or less before your tee time, open the App and select the Check In Now button from the home page of the app

2.  You should already be signed into your account automatically. If not, sign in using the exact same login information you use to book a tee time online through our website. Make sure to select the Stay Logged In option to make this process easier!

3.  If you booked the tee time, the reservation will automatically appear after logging in. If not, enter the Reservation ID and the tee time will appear. You can get the Reservation ID from the person who originally booked the tee time or by calling the Golf Shop: 604-882-5132

4.  Select a player(s) to check in. Once a player has been selected they will turn green and you can press the green Check Out Now button

5.  Confirm that your green fee rate is correct and then select the green Pay Now button. Please note, the rates shown in the app include all taxes

6.  Select your card on file to complete your payment and hit the green Complete Purchase button

You are now fully paid and checked in for your tee time! You can proceed directly to the Starter Shed upon arrival!

Sharing a Reservation ID

The Reservation ID is a unique code that is emailed to the person who originally booked the tee time:

To share a Reservation ID with the other golfers in the group for mobile check in, the person who booked the tee time can do one of the following:

  • Forward the tee time confirmation email to the other golfers
  • Login to the app and use the green Share button to share the tee time (and Reservation ID) with the other golfers via text message, email, or various other messaging apps

By sharing the Reservation ID all golfers will be able to individually check in and pay for their tee time in advance!
